It's Me, Hi, I'm the Birthday Girl, It's Me Balloon backdrop
This backdrop made the party so festive and fun!
Sparkly fringe backdrop
Sparkles and anything shimmery is the best way to jazz up any party.
Photo booth backdrop holder
I love keeping this photo booth set up on hand for birthday parties and other events! It's easier than sticking things to the wall and doesn't ruin my paint. Adding a pop of decor to a simple party makes it feel fancy without having to leave the house.
Sparkly Iridescent Plastic tablecloths
Keep your tables clean and make clean up a cinch with some disposable tablecloths. We liked these sparkly ones to go with the theme!
Disco ball balloons
My friend gave these to me to use and they were so fun! We hung them up in the middle of each room and over the table to make it feel like a giant dance party.
Easy Do-able Taylor Swift Party Ideas
Have a Taylor Swift lover? Here are our favorite Taylor Swift themed birthday party activities and supplies to use for an easy to set up celebration!!
Taylor Swift Party Activities
Let's dive into each party activity and give you more details!
1. Play Taylor Swift Themed BINGO
We downloaded Bingo cards from Etsy. There are tons of Bingo board options to choose from.
Next we printed them out and made ziploc bags filled with M&Ms for each party attendee.
We had a teen helper lead Bingo while we waited for all the guests to arrive.
2. Watch The Eras Tour Movie
To kick off the party and get the girls excited to make their own dances, we watched one song from The Eras Tour Movie. They had fun singing along!
3. Break into groups to choreograph dances to Taylor's music
Next we broke the party girls into four groups and we sent each group to a different room (aka "studio). We put signs on each door with the song they were assigned to use for their dance.
The songs my daughter picked for the dances were:
- 22
- Paper Rings
- We Are Never Getting Back Together
- You Belong With Me
We also designated a team leader for each group.

Each group was given a bag of props/accessories to use if they wanted as they were choreographing their dances. Each room also had an ipad or device that could play the designated song. Two teen helpers and parents roamed to help each group as needed.
Here are some of the props that were in their bags:
4. Have a Dance Show
After the girls worked on their dances in their studios for about 45 minutes, we gathered together by our "stage" (photo backdrop) and each group presented their dance to the rest of the groups. I was so impressed!
5. Make Friendship bracelets
After all the dancing and a quick break for dinner, girls made friendship bracelets using fun clay beads and this fabulous friendship bracelet kit.
6. Have a Dance Party
We ran out of time for our dance party, but we had such a fun Taylor Swift playlist to dance to while we turned off the lights, turned on the disco ball light, and got decked out in glow sticks!
Here are the materials we had on hand:
7. Eat Dance Themed Cupcakes
We ended the party with cupcakes and singing to the birthday girl. I kept this simple by buying white store bought cupcakes (these keep the house much cleaner than chocolate or other colored ones). Before I served them, I added some pink sparkly sprinkles on top and stuck in some disco ball cupcake toppers. So easy!
8. Make a party favor bag
Before the girls left, each one got a sparkly bag and filled their own party favor bag to take home. First, they put any of the dance accessories they got earlier in the night in their bags.
Next, they added in a few other sparkly items that my daughter loves right now- sparkly pens, notebooks, and slap bracelets.
Scroll down for all the links to these party favor items.
9. Dress up in your favorite sparkly outfit!
One final thing to mention is that we invited our party guests to wear their favorite sparkly dress or shirt and accessories. It was so fun to see each friend as they arrived! Some were sparkly from head to toe. Having the girls dressed up for the theme made the party feel even more special.
Taylor Swift Party Favor Bags
Party favor bags aren't necessary at a birthday party, but we had fun choosing these items since we used a lot of them during the party and then sent them home with the girls.
Here are some of the items that girls could put in their party favor bags at the end of the party.
Taylor Swift Inspired Gifts
Some of my daughter's friends gave her gifts inspired by the party theme! Here are a few of the themed gifts she enjoyed that you could gift a Swiftie that you know or someone who loves sparkly things.
