I Saw the TV Glow | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Max Weiss Baltimore Magazine Schoenbrun understands that, yes, we can be mesmerized, even zombified by these glowing images, but she’s not here to condemn television. She’s here to pay tribute. Rated: 3/4 May 19, 2024 Full Review I Saw the TV Glow | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Jim Laczkowski Director's Club When it ended, my first thought was, “this is why I love movies, they saved my life but they’re also an easy way to escape reality, and that in of itself can become addictive.” Jane has made their best work to date with a final act that gave me chills. Rated: 4.5/5 Jun 10, 2024 Full Review I Saw the TV Glow | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Kat Hughes THN With I Saw the TV Glow, Jane Schoenbrun continues to go from strength to strength as both a story-teller and a visual artist. Rated: 4/5 Jun 8, 2024 Full Review I Saw the TV Glow | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Margot Harrison Seven Days (VT) I Saw the TV Glow is an indie drama through and through, with slow pacing that may frustrate viewers who don't relate to its nostalgic setting and themes. Those who do, however, will be riveted -- and moved. Rated: 4.5/5 Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Mr. Hollywood Nothing special. Tired of filmmakers who make films where its up to the audience to interpret. All it means is they themselves cant make up their mind so just leaves it open ended. Its lazy Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review David Not quite sure how I feel about the ending with how the slow buildup equated to the payoff but it’s still a really interesting movie I’m glad I saw Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review Javier P Devastatingly beautiful Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review greg m This movie was literally life changing. I felt like it was super relatable and I understood it. I cannot describe how good this movie was. If you're queer, I would definitely recommend. I cried multiple times. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review James O I Saw the TV Glow is a one of a kind film. Never in all my life have I felt so seen by a film. What Jane Schoenbrun has created is something I feel privileged to have witnessed. This may have become one of my favourite films of all time! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/24 Full Review K K I Saw The TV Glow was a wonderful movie—one of the best movies I've watched in movie theaters. There are too many excellent things to say about this movie (creative, artistic, suspense, drama, humor, great script, clothes, makeup, sets, direction, editing, music, lights, acting, and everything involved with music), so I will say, GO WATCH THIS MOVIE!FYIThe short scene in this movie that some studios would cut (to save money, which is a very small amount in the budget) showed something important: HOW NOT TO ACT WHEN YOU HAVE POWER (including as the manager). Although there was a redeeming gesture or quality to that character.Bonus: some scenes with singers performing who are very talented!I saw this movie today 5.6.26 in movie theatre!
