From enabling god mode, killing all nearby enemies, spawning unlimited items, and even entering Creative Mode, let IGN guide you through everything you need to know about using some of the best cheats in the popular PC survival game, Valheim.

So you've managed to enable cheats, but now you’re probably wondering just which ones are worth trying out? Well with over 30 possible commands, we selected eight of our favorite cheats we’ve used so far.

Before we dive in, please use the following cheats at your own risk, while we personally haven’t experienced any issues, these cheats may have the potential to cause bugs, glitches, and possibly even break your world if you overuse them.

Become Invincible with God Mode

No stranger to difficulty, Valheim is full of powerful creatures that lurk in the woods and random events that will challenge even the most prepared Viking. Thankfully, if you’re looking for a much more peaceful experience, consider trying out God mode, as it will make you completely invincible to all damage.

Never Physically Kill An Enemy Again

Pairing well with God Mode, the Kill All cheat is great for those that simply cannot be bothered defeating mobs, as the cheat will kill any creatures that are within a set distance from your character.

Spawn Any Item You Want in the Game

Tired of spending time collecting resources or searching for a particular creature? Why not just spawn it in with the Spawn Item cheat, as it’s as simple as typing the item code and the quantity that you are after.

Enter Creative Mode

Want to get your creative juices flowing but you’re stuck for supplies? By entering Debug Mode you will unlock the ability to use Creative Mode. Not only will you gain the ability to fly by pressing Z, but you will also kill all enemies in the area when pressing K, along with free placements of any item upon pressing B.

Raise Your Skills Levels Without Ever Training the Skill

By now you will have probably realized that Valheim is quite the grind, especially if you’re playing by yourself. So why not take the grind away by leveling your skills automatically with the raise skill cheat. While reaching level 100 won’t necessarily make things as quick as you might have hoped, you’ll still notice a large improvement in the time that it takes to gather resources.

Uncover the Entire Map

Looking for that perfect spot to build your dream base? Why not save some time and unlock your entire world map in a matter of seconds with the Explore Map cheat.

Tame Wolves, Boars, and Even Lox

While taming animals such Wolves, Wild Boars, and Lox’s may be a rather easy process, the time and planning needed to successfully trap these creatures can be rather taxing, so why not simply spawn in a wolf and use the tame cheat in order to domesticate a furry companion.

Find Your Exact Location and Travel Without a Portal

Found a cool location but you haven’t managed to unlock a portal yet? Go to any place on the map by simply inputting the X and Z coordinates of the location into the Go To cheat. Not sure of the location coordinates? Use the "pos" cheat to print your character’s exact location.

Multiplayer Server Commands

Cheats aren’t the only commands you can use in Valheim, as you’ll also find that Server Commands may come in handy for kicking and banning players from your server, along with increasing draw distance, and even more.

• kick [name/ip/userID]

• unban [name/ip/userID]
• lodbias [0-5]
